Staccato Training Group
Designed for intact SWAT units, fugitive apprehension teams, professional shooters, and civilian students dedicated to advancing their skills, our training programs deliver focused, 2–5 day blocks of mission‑specific and skill‑building instruction. Working directly with leadership teams, and with individual civilian participants, our instructors tailor each curriculum to real‑world needs, whether driven by suspect behavior, venue constraints, environmental factors, or personal skill development.
Through guided discussion and fundamentals refinement gain a deeper understanding of their firearm. The result is confidence they can carry into real‑world situations, on the street, in competition, or in everyday carry environments.

Randy Tweedy is a retired Deputy Sheriff with 25 years of service for the largest Sheriff’s Department in the world, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. He was a Full-Time Firearms Instructor in the Department’s Weapons Training Unit for 13 years.
TrainerErik WollinInstructor
Erik Wollin is a Deputy Sheriff with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department that has been serving in the Departments Weapons Training Unit for the last 8 years.
TrainerChris PalmerInstructor
Chris retired from the Phoenix Police Department in 2025 after 26 years of service, including 13 years on SWAT and significant work developing modern firearms training and overseeing key department programs. Since 2021, he has debriefed more than 100 officers involved in lethal force incidents, shaping departmental training, and he has spoken nationally, including delivering the 2024 TTPOA keynote on officer involved shootings, police culture, and training.
